So the current excitement/anger/distress Malaysia's now in has compelled me to do a post about the country's current state of affairs.
Actually, it's quite distressing, you know?
Today at 1.24 pm, Raja Petra was taken into custody under the ISA, no less. This, probably with the reason that he's a threat to national security.
This, while all the BN Members of Parliament are gleefully spending their time researching agricultural...... no...... State of the art agricultural methods in a Taiwanese holiday destination.
This, after the (former?) Bukit Bendera Division Chief of UMNO was given, not even a slap on the wrist, but a gentle carress as punishment (3 years suspension)
This, with Mahathir rejoining UMNO after vowing not to until Badawi goes, and therefore retracting his word..... which is sooooooooooo NOT like a Malaysian at all nuh uh...
This, while there's infighting going on within BN component parties for god know what reason.
This, while it looks like Pakatan isn't doing much to ensure their takeover on the 16th of September.
This, while it looks like the Government has gone into self destruct mode, playing the fucking race card and is indefinitely going to threaten that there will be another massacre likened to May 13th, thus scaring people back into the "safety" of their communities and destroying whatever progress this country's people have made since the last general elections.
This, while investors are pulling their money out of Malaysia because of its political and economical instability under the current ruling coalition, which will cause major increase in cost of food, basic needs, and whatever fucking thing we need to live.
Yup... All this is kind of worrying, no?
